Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa, the Pacific Ocean. To some, the vast ocean is what separates our island nations. But our ancestors saw it differently. The ocean is what connects us. It's what moves us.
Moana is a creative studio built on the same idea: find the connection that moves people. Sometimes the movement is away from harm and toward help. From "boys don't cry" to "I love you, bro." Sometimes it's toward something that makes life richer: a first night at Te Matatini, a kōrero at the kitchen table. The connection might be a story, a collaboration, or a movement communities make their own.
